Lenovo LePhone – Evolution of Smartphone

Lenovo is planning to introduce a new smartphone with the original name LePhone, which alludes to the fact that mobile phones continue to evolve. In 2007, we received the announcement iPhone, and in the next two years, more companies have followed suit and introduced their own smart phones. Cell phones are becoming more powerful, and we have already passed that stage, when the telephone part of the cell phone was considered the most important.

Acer Aspire AS5741 i3 & i5

Acer Aspire AS5741 i3 & i5 has announced two new Aspire Aspire laptops, the AS5741 i3 and AS5741 i5. The model Aspire AS5741 Core i3-330M has 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD and a DVD Super Multi. Core i5-430m version is obviously more powerful and has 4GB of RAM and DVD Super Multi drive with optional Blu-Ray with a small price increase.

Both models have a 15.6-inch display with 1366 × 768 resolution, HDMI out and a 1.3 megapixel web cam. The two new Aspire are currently dedicated to the Japanese market, it is unknown whether they will further spread worldwide.

Sharp NetWalker PC-T1: 5-inch MID

Sharp NetWalker PC-T1 is a MID device of 5-inch touchscreen with the resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It’s hardware uses a Freescale processor i.MX515 800 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 architecture-based processor, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB of flash memory expandable with microSD memory cards, USB, Bluetooth connectivity and WiFi 802.11b / g.


The Ubuntu 9.04 OS is overlaid with a custom Sharp interface. Preloaded apps include FireFox, Thunderbird and OpenOffice. The device will read XMDF format books, with 101 e-books pre-installed. The device measures 150 × 90 × 21.3 mm, weighs 280 g and has a battery life of 6 hours. The PC-T1 will be on sale in Japan from next month for ¥ 47,000, about 380 €.

Sony Ericsson Zylo Walkman Phone

Sony Ericsson Zylo is a new addition to walkman series of phones with feature of FLAC audio playback support, TrackID and the PlayNow music store. The Zylo concentrates on another aspect as well – Social Networking, it has easy access to both Facebook and Twitter. Users can also share their photos to Flickr and Picasa, or upload videos to YouTube directly from the phone.

The Zylo comes equipped with a decent 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth support and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support. The display is quite large for a non touch device at over 2.6-inches. The resolution thought might be a tad low at 320 x 240 pixels. The phone supports up to 16GB of microSD memory cards apart from the 260MB internal memory.

Sony Ericsson expects the Zylo to be available in the third quarter of 2010, and the phone will be available in Jazz Black, Chacha Silver, and Swing Pink. Pricing has not yet been announced.

LG Cafe SU420 Smartphone with DMB 2.0
