Acer Aspire M5400 Gaming Desktop PC

Acer Aspire M5400 designed for video games but also great for HD video, the M5400 is a minitower brushed metal with some details from modders like the power button blue LED and the eject button that ODD lights at startup. The PC has an AMD Phenom 1055 and ATI Radeon 5570 for the graphics, it also uses ATI Eyefinity multiple displays.

Acer Aspire M5400 equipped with SATA disks up to 1TB and DDR3 memory up to 8GB. There is no lack of memory card reader and 12 USB ports. Acer Aspire M5400 will be available in September at € 849 with a processor and graphics specified above.

Sony Nextep – The Bracelet PC

The futuristic device by Sony called Nextep computer design by Hiromi Kirik of Japan, equipped with a flexible touch-screen based on organic light-emitting diodes. It built a holographic projector and retractable touch-sensitive keyboard. It is assumed that Sony Nextep Computer will focus on communication in social networks.

MSI Slatebook Tablet PC

The company MSI is preparing to release a tablet called Slatebook. This device will be demonstrated at Computex 2010. MSI Slatebook will be running Windows 7 operating system and based on Intel Atom processor series Z. Moreover, it will be a platform Menlow, and not a new powerful and energy efficient Moorestown.

Dell OptiPlex 980 Productive Desktop Computer



Dell  introduced a desktop, the OptiPlex 980 which is 35% more productive than its predecessor. Dell OptiPlex 980  is available in three form factors of different sizes, but similar design – a standard desktop, MiniTower desktop and compact (small). Computer is based on CPU performance Intel Core i5/i7 and can be equipped with solid state drive. In addition, the manufacturer said low system power consumption.

Dell also said that when creating a new OptiPlex 980 been used more components, past recycling than the previous line of computers. More detailed data on the technical characteristics of this model did not provide, mentioning only the optional support for remote management of Intel KVM (Keyboard, Video, Mouse). Acer Aspire AS5741 i3 & i5


Acer Aspire AS5741 i3 & i5 has announced two new Aspire Aspire laptops, the AS5741 i3 and AS5741 i5. The model Aspire AS5741 Core i3-330M has 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD and a DVD Super Multi. Core i5-430m version is obviously more powerful and has 4GB of RAM and DVD Super Multi drive with optional Blu-Ray with a small price increase.

Both models have a 15.6-inch display with 1366 × 768 resolution, HDMI out and a 1.3 megapixel web cam. The two new Aspire are currently dedicated to the Japanese market, it is unknown whether they will further spread worldwide.

Sharp NetWalker PC-T1: 5-inch MID


Sharp NetWalker PC-T1 is a MID device of 5-inch touchscreen with the resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It’s hardware uses a Freescale processor i.MX515 800 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 architecture-based processor, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB of flash memory expandable with microSD memory cards, USB, Bluetooth connectivity and WiFi 802.11b / g.


The Ubuntu 9.04 OS is overlaid with a custom Sharp interface. Preloaded apps include FireFox, Thunderbird and OpenOffice. The device will read XMDF format books, with 101 e-books pre-installed. The device measures 150 × 90 × 21.3 mm, weighs 280 g and has a battery life of 6 hours. The PC-T1 will be on sale in Japan from next month for ¥ 47,000, about 380 €.
